About the Role

As a Mechanic, you play a vital role in ensuring our vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready to serve the community. This position involves vehicle prep, regular maintenance, and facility upkeep. You'll also have the opportunity to learn from an experienced ASE-certified mechanic and grow your skills within the company. With guaranteed full-time hours and a supportive team, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, including routine inspections and essential repairs on company-owned gas vehicles, such as oil changes and brakes.

• Prep vehicles each morning to ensure they are ready for service.

• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs promptly to maintain fleet reliability.

• Ensure proper safeguarding and maintenance of tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.

• Perform general upkeep and maintenance tasks around the facility.

• Complete work orders and failure reports accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.

• Assist with other tasks as required to support the team.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a journeyman in automotive or truck repair.

• Must have your own tools.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.

• Detail-oriented, reliable, and a strong team player with a positive attitude.

• Must demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally: Kneeling, stooping, bending, leaning. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

• Frequently: Hearing, listening, clear speech, and reaching.

Working Environment

• Work both indoors and outdoors, with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions, fumes, and temperature changes.

• Exposure to noise and mechanical and electrical equipment.

Our Benefits

• Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.

• Guaranteed full-time hours.

• 4% matched 401(k) after one year plus additional employer retirement contributions.

• Up to 75% of medical insurance paid by the company.

• 5 days paid time off after one year and 6 paid holidays after 90 days.
